Reports on the surgery for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) arising from primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC). Diagnosis of PBC with severe liver fibrosis by laboratory examination and a biopsy; Highlights of the gross findings of the surgical specimen; Successful surgical treatment of some patients with HCC arising from PBC; Resemblance of the nature of HCC occurring in PBC with the HCC occurring in hepatitis C etiologically. |
