The study was conducted in the field of poultry of the Department of Livestock, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Kufa for the period. The purpose of the study was to test the effect of addition of the biomass of Pleurotus ostreatus fungus to the feed and its exudates to the drinking water, on the weights sectors ratios and Giblets weight (gm) of Broiler chicken. A total of 360 of Ross 308 broiler chicks withone day old, were randomly allocated into eight treatment groups chicks, in each treatment group were sub-divided into three replicates. The eight treatment groups were as follow : T1: the control treatment without any additives. T2: Additionof vegetative growth of P. ostreatus 25 g / kg feed. T3: Addition ofvegetative growth of P.ostreatus 50g / kg feed. T4: Addition of vegetative growth of P. ostreatus 100 g / kg feed. T5: Additon of exudates of P. ostreatus 25 ml / liter in drinking water. T6: Addition of exudates of P.ostreatus 50 ml / liter in drinking water. T7: Addition of exudates of P. ostreatus 100 P. ostreatus / liter in drinking water. T8: Addition of vegetative growth 50g/kg to feed and 50 ml/liter exudates of P.ostreatus in drinking water. The data showed the following results : There are significant differences between treatments in the weights of heart where recorded in treatments T7 and T8 (12.07, 11.89) gm Respectively, there was no significant differences between treatments T6 and T5, as it amounted to an average weight of the heart (11.72, 11.60)) gm respectively, while the birds treatment T4 appears alower heart weight (11.08) gm. About the liver weight of the birds of the different treatments, it was recorded in T7, which gave the highest average liver weight (80.09) gm followed directly by T8, which had a average of liver weight of birds (75.24) gm. Also, gizzard weight had shown the results of analysis of variance outweigh the birds T7 (66.40) gm and T8 (65.51) gm in all experimental treatments. The results of statistical analysis had shown with respect to the secondary carcass cut (back, neck and wings) no significant differences between the mean ratios of the back, neck and weight in all of the treatment. Also the addition of the vegetative and exudates of P. ostreatus fungus were affected significantly with differences among the treatments, which appeared that T1 and T2 in the number of aerobic bacteria, which recorded 5.21, 5.19 CFU/g respectively, while the number of Cliform reached 4.49,4.44 CFU / g for T1 and T2, respectively.
