Candida albicans is an opportunistic pathogen, which is polymorphic and is the most common cause of candidiasis. In recent years, the study of secondary metabolites of medicinal plants such as essential oils and plant extracts, has shown that most of the essential oils extracted from herbs have anti-microbial and antifungal properties. The essential oils from the leaves of Eucalyptus globulus were isolated by hydro distillation in two fractions and analyzed by GC/MS. The inhibition zone was determined by disc dffusion method and the MIC was messured by microplate dilution method. With analysis essence by device GC/MS were detected 17 composition of first, second and third In fractions, and in the analysis of materials synthesized were detected 10 compounds. These results evaluate demonstrates antifungal activity important to the of essential oils and synthetic materials the plant against Candida albicans. According to the said method, first got the minimum inhibitory concentration, that the concentration is of the essential oil tube number 2 or a concentration of 1/4 and the synthetic material, MIC is tube number 1 and concentration 1/2. Eucalyptus essential oil with 70% cineole, is considered an important therapeutic compound. One of the main components of Eucalyptus globulus is 1, 8 cineole, and the derivativesof this compound have different antibacterial and antifungal properties. Compared to the original composition of the first, second and third fraction, the eucalyptol's percent was reduced each time, suggesting that the best time to enrich eucalyptol is after one hour of extraction.
