Abstrakt: The article discusses International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA) Congress Buenos Aires 2017: Listening for echoes of the child in adult psychoanalysis panel held in 2017 which was presented by Sergio Nick, Florence Guignard and Kerry Kelly Novick and chaired by Virgina Ungar. Topics discussed include considering intimacy as an immediate lightning experience that transcends social, age and sex differences and the impact of the internet in contemporary adolescence.
