The article discusses International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA) Congress Buenos Aires 2017: Intimacy (Unrepresented traumatic experiences) held in 2017 which was presented by Guillermo Bodner and chaired by Ana-María Rizzuto. Topics discussed include correlation between quantity excess and primary objects' capacity to introduce meaning to baby's early experiences and struggle to sustain intimacy and its vicissitudes in the analytic encounter with patients who present serious pathology. |
