The article discusses the technique of constructing a Ultra high frequency low-power beacon using a HopeRF RFM69HCW transceiver, which can be used in hot air balloons, model rockets and other applications. It mentions use of a onboard voltage regulator provides the voltage source for all three devices. It also states addition of many Serial Peripheral Interface devices and sensors such as temperature sensors and accelerometers. |
