Abstrakt: The article presents a study which identified certain vulnerabilities in cancers that express PGBD5, a DNA transposase. The study found that expression of PGBD5 is not tolerated by cells in mice and human beings which lack nonhomologous end joining DNA repair. Examination of cell survival and DNA damage was done using Western immunoblotting.
