Abstrakt: To assess safety and tolerability of radical/adjuvant chemo radiation on quality of life, and to assess acute toxicity and tolerability of radical/adjuvant chemo radiation. Study design of this research work was analytic-descriptive and causative comparative type used to describe the acute toxicity and tolerability in head and neck cancer patient. It was carried out at Shree Krishna Hospital, Karmsad. The data of 50 Patient was collected by questionnaires from two visits. RTOG acute toxicity criteria for assessment of toxicity and FACT head and neck version 4 used to detect Qol. First visit was done at the start of chemo radiation and second visit was at the end of chemo radiation. In the present study we have find out effect of chemo radiation on QoL. At the start of treatment QoL in head and neck cancer patients was good, and it was decreased significantly by the end of treatment. This could accrue due to various reasons. Beside that we have found out that there is no relation between QoL and toxicity. QoL of life is decreasing by end of the treatment is independent from any toxicity grade. From result and discussion it was concluded that although it was difficult to relate Quality of life of Cancer patients with toxicity. There is no significant relation between Qol and toxicity.
