Chapter 4.2 of the periodical "Foundations and Trends in Technology, Information and Operations Management" is presented. It discusses standard lot size coordination models in relation to the setup and holding costs of the entire supply chain. It examines a paper which assumes lot-for-lot production by the seller which is appropriate in a just-in-time environment. A mathematical model for a reframing of the paper's policy is also presented. |
