This article analyses the latest tendencies in evaluation of foreign philosophers in study of the patriotism phenomenon. It is stressed that scientific discourse of problems is around content of the notion, of its conceptualization in socio–cultural circumstances of European and Northern American countries. The attention is drawn to two groups of research interpretations of patriotism as strong and as moderate patriotism and to different types of patriotism. The correlations between patriotism and nationalism, between citizenship and patriotism are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
