Abstrakt: The problem of the East–West demarcation line today is a key to demarcation of the world. Throughout history, it has been transformed. Modifications of this division were represented in the history of Christianity. The article deals with the philosophical and religious analysis of the formation and development of the Assyrian Church of the East as a cultural and religious phenomenon. The history of the Assyrian Church shows Christianity as a multi–faceted civilization complex whose area of distribution is not limited to Europe. This Church is also an illustrative example of the importance of the political circumstances of religious history. Originated outside the Roman Empire, the Church of the East became the representative of Persia Christianity and created an alternative to the Church of the Roman Empire. During the Christological discussions of the 5th century, the Church of the East experienced the effects of Nestorianism, which separated from the Church of the West not only geographically, but also theological. Comprehensive study of the historical parts of Christianity is necessary for the formation of a general picture of religious history and the philosophy of its creation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
