The article is devoted to the government of Pavlo Skoropadsky in the period of Hetmanate. The government had little support from Ukrainian activists, but, it was able to establish an effective administrative organization, established diplomatic ties with many countries, and concluded a peace treaty with Soviet Russia. The study focuses on the activities of the Minister of Trade and Industry – Sergii Mehring and his contribution to the development of the Ukrainian State. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
