A report on the economic impact of several business tax provisions in the U.S. that expired in 2016 is presented. These tax provisions include the special business investment provisions, economic development provisions, and other business-related provisions. Also discussed are the estimated cost of extending expired provisions, the Congress' extension of expired or expiring temporary tax provisions, and the options that the Congress consider in temporary provisions. |
