The article discusses the boxing matches that are scheduled to feature mixed martial arts competitor Conor McGregor and boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on August 26, 2017 and boxers Canelo Alvarez and Gennady (GGG) Golovkin on September 16, 2017. McGregor's attempt to hand Mayweather his first professional boxing loss is examined, along with the views of boxer-turned-promoter Oscar De La Hoya. The author claims that boxing is in need of change as of 2017. |
