Abstrakt: The article presents a four-part historical and educational analysis on reparatory justice curriculum for human freedom focusing on African American dispossession. The parts include the importance of heritage knowledge in education for human freedom, the impor­tance of accurate scholarship informed by African epistemology and wisdom, rewriting knowledge within the global movement for reparations, and (mis)representations and distortions regarding African American enslavement found in texts.
