The article discusses the study that measures the size of nasopharynx structures of patients with velopharyngeal dysfunction after undergoing palatoplasty. Topics mentioned include the comparison of the velar thickness, length and depth of two groups that received Furlow and Langenbeck procedures, the comparative study of the videofluoroscopic films, and the findings that show the longer velums of patients that underwent Furlow technique. |
