The article focuses on problem of concussion in professional sports litigation with advancements in medicine and lawyers need to understand some of the basics of concussion diagnosis and treatment and legal developments. Topics discussed include need to determine an athlete's cognitive abilities and identify underlying health conditions, legal claims available to help compensate a concussed athlete such as negligence, fraud and product liability and issues regarding statutory immunities. |
