| Abstrakt: |
This paper identifies potential methods of enabling CSP plants to provide primary operating reserves. One particular method, namely the use of a steam accumulator, is investigated in more detail. The size and cost of such an accumulator are estimated. The results may be used by electricity regulators, who need to assess whether CSP plants should be required to provide primary frequency support. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
