A case of the rare occurrence of conventional GCT in a rib is presented. Due to its radiological aggressivity, the possibility of a MGCT was entertained clinically, and preoperative chemotherapy and radiation therapy were given. The literature on giant cell tumors of the ribs is reviewed, and their distinction from primary MGCT and other giant-cell-containing lesions is discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
