Abstrakt: Wireless broadcast is an efficient strategy for disseminating data to a large population of clients in road networks. Network Partition Index (NPI) does not address how to handle the environment effectively when the data objects are increased to a large number in broadcast system and physical restrictions of clients which include low bandwidth, mobility, limited energy and capacity. To address these problems, an NPI based air index, called Spatial Air Index (SAI) has been proposed by using Optimal Hybrid Broadcast (OHB) scheduling and Adaptive Cooperative Caching (ACC) for spatial queries in road networks. Experiments are conducted for evaluating query performance and comparison of SAI with state-of-the-art NPI. The experimental results show that SAI outperforms the rest. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
