Abstrakt: An online survey was distributed to first-year pharmacy students in Trinidad and Tobago, to evaluate their experiences using adaptive learning technology in the form of a SmartBook® for an Anatomy and Physiology course. Fifty percent of the students sampled completed the survey. Respondents reported spending approximately five hours per week using the SmartBook®; accessing the platform primarily via laptops. Seventy-four percent of students found the software easy to navigate and identified the e-book as the most commonly used feature out of the seven features that were available. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that the SmartBook® supported learning, and provided positive learning experiences in Anatomy and Physiology for first-year B.Sc. Pharmacy students.
