Abstrakt: Dendritic-flowers and nano-rods of wurtzite structure Cu2ZnSnS4 are synthesized via a solvothermal process. Synthesis process was carried out at 200°C for different reaction times (1-12 h) to studies its effect on phase formation, morphology, elemental composition, and optical properties. Physical characterization such as XRD analysis confirms phase purity of synthesized nanoparticles. FEG-TEM analysis reveals the dendritic-flowers and nano-rods shape of synthesized CZTS particles. EDS analysis determines the variation in elemental composition of CZTS nanoparticles with reaction time. The optical properties of synthesized CZTS nanoparticles were measured with the help of the UV spectrometers, and the obtained optical band gap values are similar to that CZTS nanoparticle synthesized by other wet chemical processes.
