The article focuses on the effect of gamma radiation on macro mutations and their effectivenes and efficiency in pea. The practical utility of induced mutations for the improvement of inherited characters in pea is recognized. These have been used to find out sensitivity of crop plants to mutagens and to elucidate effectiveness and efficiency of mutagen. |
