| Abstrakt: | This article explores the institutional international law aspects of UNIDROIT on the occasion of its ninetieth anniversary. The author highlights its historical development since the foundation of 1926 and the transformation of 1940, and its main institutional characteristics. He also shows the peculiarity of UNIDROIT under this branch of law.
