Abstrakt: The article discusses the usefulness of Poly(GP) proteins in pharmacodynamic marker for C9ORF72-associated amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It cites on the progressive motor neuron disease which results into muscle atrophy, paralysis and death after 5 years of onset. The article also discusses the drug approval of riluzole, citing its clinical trials conducted since 1995.
