Abstrakt: The article discusses sex differences in melanoma prognosis, focusing on the X chromosome expression of the gonosomal protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit B beta (PPP2R3B) gene in tumor growth inhibition and cell cycle interference. It is noted that PPP2R3B expression is lower at the pseudoautosomal region (PAR) of the Y chromosome, leading to poorer metastasis-free survival in males.
