Abstrakt: The article presents a study that determines the effectiveness of transcranial direct current simulation (tDCS) in enhancing the functional benefits of rehabilitation in patients after stroke. It offers details of the method of the study that observes 24 patients at least six months after unilateral stroke. It outlines the result which indicates that tDCS can help improve long-term clinical outcomes relative to sham treatment in patients after stoke.
