Abstrakt: The article discusses contact dermatitis caused from tioconazole. A 49-year-old male was presented in January 1986 to authors of this article with superficial leukonychia of the toenails scrapings from which grew trichophyton interdigitale, because of the superficial nature of the infection, oral medication was thought to be unnecessary and he was started on with tioconazole nail solution two times daily. The result was that he returned to normal in two months and stopped medication, but had to restart when leukonychia further developed after 2 months and again stopped after four months of treatment.
