Abstrakt: The article talks about the Griffin Sisters, Emma and Mabel Griffin, who were singers, comedians, and dancers. It is noted that the Griffin Sisters had asserted themselves as race women, and thy created their own theatrical agency with an aim of providing equitable salaries to their African American performers. It also discusses the popularity of Jazz and Blues artists of the 1920s, which was stated to be an era of growth for Black business.
