Abstrakt:	A literary criticism is provided on the Italian thriller novel "Foucault's Pendulum," by Umberto Eco. The depiction of the fictional street rue de la Manticore in Paris, France within the novel is discussed. The influence that the Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges had on the novel is also discussed.
