The article discusses a meeting on the effect of marine fuel regulation on market and pricing impacts by Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) in October 2016. Topics discussed includes implementation of Global Sulfur Cap by International Maritime Organization (IMO), decreasing the allowable percentage of sulfur in marine fuels consumed in international waters, and mentions the report of Exhaust Gas Cleaning System Association members on number of installed scrubbers in vessels. |
