Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the impact of ambient light in the restaurant industry on food choices and consumer experience. Topics include the use of retail atmospherics as a competitive tool, the tendency for consumers to choose less healthy food options when ambient lighting is dim, the ability of ambient light luminance to influence mental alertness and ultimately food choices, and the use of ambient lighting by restaurants and grocery stores to influence consumers' decisions and behavior.
