Abstrakt: |
The article discusses use of natural edible gums derived from the forest species in Argentina in the manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. It mentions gums obtained from tree species are extracted from seeds like guar gum derived from the seeds of Cyamopsis tetragonolobus. It also mentions use of natural gums in the food industry as food additives which play important role in the food preparation process. |
