The article focuses on the importance of the wood energy sector in some countries of sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and how this sector is prioritized in climate change policies. Topics discussed include the energy sector's reflection in countries Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); heavy exploitation of charcoal production; why wood energy is important in Africa; and strengthening the climate change in Africa. |
