Background. Cycling, practised individually or in groups, is among the most popular movement activities. Cycling qualified tourism can be enumerated as one of its elements. The Jizera Mountains provide ample opportunities for cycling. Material and methods. The concept of the study was based on the method of a diagnostic survey. The aim of the research was to assess the level of cyclists' preparation to practise mountain cycling tourism. Results and conclusions. Most subjects used relatively good equipment. A vast majority of the responders were well prepared in terms of clothing. They were also well prepared physically. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
