Abstrakt: This article provides information on aggressive biologic behavior of basal and squamous cell cancers in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or chronic lymphocytic lymphoma. There is an increasing evidence that cutaneous neoplasms occur with greater frequency and behave in a more aggressive fashion in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphocytic lymphomas. These disorders seem to be associated with an increased incidence of second neoplasms, especially cancers. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is primarily a disease of the elderly and is often diagnosed in an asymptotic stage during examination for other conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
