Abstrakt:	The article explores how Catalan nationalists try to cultivate Catalan place in Barcelona, Spain. It highlights how members of Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) engage with their city through four visual means including graffiti, stories, flags and architecture. It examines how spaces are made and places are marked by Catalanist actors in Barcelona and discuss issues associated with identity, space and nationality.
