The article focuses on the option of the medical termination of pregnancy for women in Canada seeking to terminate unwanted pregnancies. It mentions how medical termination offers women a nonsurgical approach for abortion, the approval of medical-abortion drug RU-486, also called mifepristone, and the alternative use of methotrexate combined with misoprostol. The protocols for administering mifepristone and methotrexate with misoprostol are discussed. |
