Abstrakt: The article presents a study about the effects of the seed of Ashanti pepper on carbohydrate hydrolyzing enzymes, blood glucose level, lipid profile, antioxidant status, and kidney liver function markers in rats with type 2 diabetes induced by high-fat diet and streptozotocin.
