| Abstrakt: |
In Scotland, Greater Glasgow Health Board is currently considering adjusting the level of fluoride in the drinking water, but has been advised that considerable reductions in dental caries have occurred in Western Europe and that the need for a fluoridation program may no longer be important. Children aged 12 years were selected as the study population because oral health goals have been published for this group and the World Health Organization has recommended that 12-years-old be studied and included in the International Data Base. |
