In Romania the sanitary system is far from being a very modern and performant one still, there are initiatives promoting measures of improving the actual condition of the national health level and we are going to focus on one of these solutions: permanent centers. The purpose of the paper is to demonstrate how important is to have a permanent center of healthcare where one can get specialised treatment and therapy until the ambulance can get to the patient and take it to the hospital. The first aid that can be received in such a permanent center turns out to be lifesaver in many cases, as we will demonstrate in the following. This remarkable initiative is a real progress for the romanian sanitary system and of course for Bihor county and we would like to emphasize how many successful cases were recorded in only one center of this kind.
