Abstrakt: The non-contact optical techniques are very interesting for 3D characterization of delicate and complex engineering surfaces. In this study, a new method is introduced to measure the surface topography 3D agglomerated particles using a laser displacement sensor. For surface topography, signature method is used, which allows to determine some parameters of roughness. One advantage of this method is that it is non-contact, where a three-dimensional reconstruction based on laser displacement sensor is used to extract the 3D point cloud objects. Agglomerated particles were obtained from an agglomeration process which measure between 1 and 2mm. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
