The article focuses on legal issues related to medical uncertainties. It is mentioned that some court rulings have supported incomplete disclosure under limited circumstances although the boundaries of complete disclosure during informed consent have never been directly clarified by the courts. It is noted that the efficacy of many expensive, well-entrenched standards of care is questioned in the case Worried Sick. |
