Abstrakt: The article reports that Seattle, Washington's massive tunneling machine named Bertha was nearly halfway through her 3.2-kilometer dig to replace the Alaskan Way Viaduct at the end of September 2016 according to the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
