Abstrakt: The article focuses on types of mycorrhiza in British flora. Mycorrhizal associations between the roots of plants and fungi are common and they are the usual absorbing organs for soil-derived nutrients of a great many plants. They belong to the phyla Zygomycotina, Ascomycotina and Basidiomycotina and to the Fungi Imperfecti. Micorrhizas can be divided into three broad categories--ectomycorrhizas, ectendomycorrhizas and endomycorrhizas. Mycorrhizas develop in mature phase and senescent phase.
