The article characterizes the European Union's (EU) relationship with Latin America. Topics discussed include the levels of EU-Latin American relationship, the history of European colonialism in Latin America until the start of the 19th century and the economic and social programs between the regions as of 2016. Also discussed are the social and economic impact of European colonialism on Latin America and the reasons for the unequal wealth distribution and widespread poverty in Latin America. |
