Abstrakt: The article focuses on allergic contact dermatitis from bufexamac cream. Bufexamac is an arylalcanoic acid derivative. Bufexamac cream has the anti-inflammatory effect of fluocinolone acetonide cream. About 20% of patients with dermatitis had contact allergy to topical medicaments. The use of topical anti-inflammatory drugs has recently increased. There are several reports of allergy to bufexamac, though its incidence of contact sensitivity was estimated as only 0.3%. Application to broken skin increases the risk of sensitization to topical Bufexamac.
