Present study was identified student's attitudes towards environmental protection issues and investigated potential differences between these students's that participate in exercise activities and those who did not. Participants were 300 students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, 73 men and 227 women. Three scales were used to evaluate 'perceived information', 'attitudes towards environmental protection' and 'predisposition adoption friendly habits on the environment' (Kouthouris & Kontogianni, 2013). The application of t-test between students who participated in exercise activities and those who did not participate revealed significant statistical differences. Particularly students who participated in exercise activities scored higher in all scales related to environmental protection than those who did not participate. Results agree with previous research data (Zafeiroudi & Hatzigeorgiadis, 2012) arguing that the more active citizens in a community express higher environmental friendly behaviors.
