| Abstrakt: | The author examines key questions to consider before using preimplementation genetic screening (PGS) in women of advanced reproductive age. He stresses that PGS of embryos achieved through in vitro fertilization (IVF) is an intervention that can identify euploid embryos. He also suggests that when evaluating the utility of PGS in the treatment of idiopathic recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL), one should consider the likelihood of spontaneously conceiving a live birth and if there is risk to PGS. |
