Letnandkbe two positive integers and. In this paper, the connectivity of thek-numerical range ofn-square quaternion matrices is investigated. Also, the quaternion matrices whose higher numerical ranges are singleton or a line segment are characterized. Moreover, some algebraic and geometrical properties of higher numerical ranges of skew-Hermitian quaternion matrices are investigated.
